I think even people who love winter and snow have had enough. As yet another round of snow is falling outside, all I can think is, No More Snow! Make it stop! There’s no more room for more snow!
Yes, snow and winter can be beautiful. These are a couple of my favorite shots of when the lake froze and we took the dogs out to play. Lokie is saying, Wait for me!
Of course, we waited until we saw other people in the middle of the frozen lake before venturing out ourselves. Didn’t want to have to perform a rescue operation in the middle of the lake.
And while this is a beautiful shot,
this is not as nice,
and at this point, I’d much rather see this.
Would you rather being doing this,
Wait, how come Jim gets to paddle board while I’m shoveling snow?
That’s better. I’ll play in the sand, and let Jim shovel the snow.
With Lokie supervising.
It took Jim almost 3 hours to drive home from work the other day in a snow storm, and when he finally got home, he stormed into the house and said, “That’s it! I’ve had it with the snow. We’re out of here!”
And if you know Jim, you know he doesn’t storm so the snow must have really gotten to him.
Is it my imagination or is it getting colder and snowier every year? Now I understand why snow birds run away in the winters.
One more question. Would you rather be here looking at this,
or somewhere warm looking at this?
It’s a no brainer for me.
