Warm weather and sunny days

Hot sand beneath my toes

Yummy mai tai’s and Kona beer

Ice cold in my hand

Lying on the beach listening to waves

Outside on our lanai taking a break

Very happy in flip-flops and shorts

Enjoying the sense of ohana and the Aloha spirit

Hawaii, so far from cold snowy New York

Abundant with papayas, pineapples and lilikoi

Whiffs of hibiscus and plumeria fill the air

Awash with the orange glow of sunrises and sunsets

I don’t want to leave this beautiful land

I give many mahalos and say Aloha Hawaii, until we meet again
